It’s already won the 2015 MIPA Award for best guitar amp (read all about that here) this year, but now TriAmp Mark 3 has been announced as a nominee for the 31st Annual NAMM Technical Excellence & Creativity (TEC) Awards, in the category of Outstanding Technical Achievement: Musical Instrument Amplification & Effects.
The awards ceremony will be held at the January 2016 NAMM Show in Anaheim, California, and of course we’ll be there to see if we can scoop yet another gong for this game changer of an amp.
The TEC Awards were created to celebrate the very best in professional audio and sound production, and TriAmp Mark 3 will be up against some stiff competition on the night. You can see a list of all the nominees here: https://www.tecawards.org/nominees/technical
Rüdiger Forse, H&K’s Senior Product Manager, says: “Having already won the best guitar amplifier MIPA Award this year, we’re absolutely delighted that TriAmp Mark 3 has been nominated for yet another renowned prize.
“It’s the best amp we’ve made so far, and it’s already changed the way players across the planet are approaching their guitar sound. For us, that’s what it’s all about: giving guitarists everywhere the opportunity to express themselves in the best way possible. Now, roll on Anaheim!”
Of course there will be a huge H&K presence at next year’s NAMM Show – and maybe even some cool new stuff to get very excited about – but more on that over the next few months.
Until then, if you’ve not found out why TriAmp Mark 3 has been winning fans and prizes all over the place since it came out in January, this video pretty much nails it:
