There’s nothing feminine about the Coreblade: It’s raw, brutal – and so easy to handle.

69 Chambers are a minefield of contradictions. A place where brutality meets pop sensibility and down tuned riffs, battering drums and a driving bass collide with infectious melody.  Swiss Metal/Rock threepiece 69 Chambers comprises Nina Treml on guitar and vocals, Maddy Madarasz on bass and backing vocals as well as Diego Rapacchietti on drums. You might be thinking a band with a line-up like that just can’t be the real deal. You might be wrong. Nina lays down masses of hefty guitars that chug and grind in a very deliberate fashion as Maddy’s bass adds thump to the sound and Diego’s drumming drives the thunderous machine along effortlessly. As if that weren’t enough, the trio was recently joined by guitar legend Tommy Vetterli (Coroner, Kreator) to bolster the mood at their live performances and enrich the melodies with virtuosic guitar leads. The band was originally formed by the guitar playing frontwoman. Born in Seoul from Swiss parents, Nina spent her first nine years in South Korea and the following seven in Singapore. At the age of 16, she landed herself in Switzerland where music got a hold of her when she was asked to join a band as a bass player. Nina taught herself to play the bass and later switched to the guitar. Influenced by various metal, alternative rock and even pop artists, she soon started writing original songs. Setting up her own band, a band by the name of 69 Chambers, was only a matter of time. After spending some time in the U.S. and letting the unfreedom in the «Land of the Free» inspire her, Nina returned with 13 powerful songs for the first album. In 2009, the band was made completewith the joining of Maddy and Diego – just in time for the release of the debut. «War On The Inside» was produced by Tommy Vetterli at New Sound Studio in Pfäffikon, Switzerland and globally relased under the German label Silverwolf Productions (SPV). Not least because of numerous live performances – amongst others at Hellfest France, MFVF Belgium  and Open Air Lumnezia Switzerland – 69 Chambers have gained an international reputation and an increasing number of fans around the world.
