Tommy Thayer, 1960 in Portland, Oregon, geboren, lie\u00df sich in seiner Jugend von der Popmusik der 60er- und dem Hardrock der 70er-Jahre inspirieren. Mit 13 griff er zur Gitarre und gr\u00fcndete sp\u00e4ter die Hardrock-Band Black \u2019N Blue. Nach dem Umzug nach S\u00fcdkalifornien im Jahr 1983 stellte sich rasch Erfolg ein: Die Band unterschrieb bei Geffen Records und ging auf internationale Tournee. Durch die Verbindung zu Gene Simmons kam es schlie\u00dflich zur Zusammenarbeit mit KISS, die den Weg f\u00fcr Tommys Rolle als Leadgitarrist der Band ebnete.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Ich war \u00fcbergl\u00fccklich, als ich 2008 meinen eigenen Hughes & Kettner Signature-Amp erhielt \u2013 den Duotone Tommy Thayer. Ich wusste sofort, dass er genau richtig war, denn die Power und Tonalit\u00e4t dieses Verst\u00e4rkers passten perfekt zu dem, was ich bei KISS brauchte. Im Laufe der Jahre mit KISS kann ich kaum z\u00e4hlen, wie oft mich Fans, Freunde und Gitarristen gefragt haben: „Welchen Amp spielst du da auf der B\u00fchne mit diesem Wahnsinnssound?“ \u2013 und jedes Mal antworte ich voller Stolz: „Es ist ein Hughes & Kettner.“<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
