Amir John Haddad aka El Amir is a German-born, multi ethnical, internationally acclaimed virtuoso and multi-string instrumentalist who began playing oud and flamenco guitar at seven and has performed on stage since twelve. He is considered to be among the top Flamenco Guitar Soloist of his generation.

Mastering guitar, oud, banjo, bouzouki, electric guitar, saz, bass and more, he’s been nominated for two Latin Grammys with world music legends Radio Tarifa and Spanish Flamenco Pop band Chambao, and is a recipient of the Independent Music Award and Global Music Award

He has Toured the world several times and has collaborated, recorded, or toured with icons including Stanley Clarke, Marcus Miller, Peter Murphy (Bauhaus), Shankar Mahadevan (John McLaughlin–Shakti), Brad Fiedel (Terminator), and Vince DiCola (The Transformers, Rocky)

Currently the guitar soloist in Hans Zimmers The World of Hans Zimmer” and lead guitarist for Juno Reactor (The Matrix), he appears on Zimmer’s Hollywood film soundtracks: Boss Baby 2, SpongeBob 3, Army of Thieves, The Rhythm Section, and James Bond: No Time To Die

Renowned for spanning a huge range of styles with ease—classical, rock, metal, electronic, funk, oriental music, and fusion—Amir is widely regarded as a virtuoso across all his instruments.
