ANDREAS SCHMID-MARTELLE
Andreas Schmid-Martelle aka Martelle played his way into the hearts of listeners in 1988
as guitarist in the Jule Neigel Band. During his time in the band until 2002, Martelle’s
activities included composing, arranging and producing as well as playing guitar. The
band sold around two million records.
Today, Martelle concentrates on writing and producing. He has been producing album
after album for the Popvirus label since 2008, and his catalog now includes over 600
songs. He also performs live as guitarist and lead singer with the power trio Incredible
Pack, who have just completed their third album. From time to time there is also a
Martelle solo album, most recently “The Doors Will Open”.
